what is much better, a trust fund or a mutual fund? whats the minimum investment to that and where can i go?

i'm looking for any investment which will not take my time..like a time deposit or stock investment but i don't know which is the best one and which was has the least risk at the same time an investment which is not that big..please help me..thanks!

AnandPatwada 		All Fund investments require daily checking at least a market direction. CDs, Bonds and Treasury certificates have almost negligible risk, but their returns are bad.

SamirAhmed 		Split your funds between four or five mutual funds and be done with it. Look at the charts and see which ones "wiggle" differently from each other and let that be a crude form of hedging. For instance one fund might be heavily into China or Japan stocks. Then buy into them and check back once every week or so to see how they are doing and poke around for better investments if you feel like it and switch to one particular stock otherwise just let them sit and let the fund managers do their(mediocre) jobs.
