How do we get insurance companies to reduce medical insurance premiums to employers?

Let's face it, here in the U.S. the medical insurance premiums for group health coverage is rising faster than inflation. As a result, a lot of companies are either reducing the levels of coverage in order to offset the cost of insurance, increasing the deductible, and or increasing the cost to the employees for the insurance premiums.

The problem is that insurance companies have no incentive to reduce insurance premiums. They continue to get record profits and this issue is out of control.

How do we get the insurance companies to decrease insurance premiums to the rate of inflation, or better yet, start reducing the cost of premiums for a change?

Who died and left you to be the master economist? Your beliefs look like they came out of the left wing liberal loony playbook. Employers do get discounts on health care premium when they buy group policies. Further, employers who operate in more than one state are not limited to the companies operating in a particular state.

Insurance companies are highly regulated in every state. Rates are approved by the various insurance departments.

The inflation rate is an imaginary figure made up by bureaucrats in the US government. The cost of some goods and services actually go down: gasoline and HD wide screen TVs. So the overall rate is skewed by the minuses.

If you don't like health insurance, don't buy it.

thank all of the people who have sued doctors
now some rightfully should and sued but many people needlessly sue.
this causes the doctors to charge more meaning the insurance rates also rise
