Do I need a UnInsured and UnderInsured Coverage?

My agent is trying to talk me to taking coverage for uninsured and underinsured for my auto? I am not sure whether I really need it because I am a safe driver.

There is no doubt you need this UI coverage or not because many states require you have this coverage in your insurance by law. So you have to have it. It is not about how good a driver you are.It is about how others are and many legal battles are fought by insurance companies because of Under/un insured people who don't bother to care for others.

I would strongly take this coverage and you have to have it.
